Centurion (2010)

“Centurion” is a 2010 historical action film directed by Neil Marshall. Set during the Roman Empire in AD 117, the film tells the story of Quintus Dias, played by Michael Fassbender, a Roman centurion who survives a Pictish raid on a Roman fort on the northern frontier of Britain.
Quintus joins the legendary Ninth Legion, led by General Virilus, portrayed by Dominic West, on a mission to wipe out the Picts and their leader, Gorlacon. However, the legion is ambushed, and most of its soldiers are killed. Quintus and a small group of survivors find themselves behind enemy lines, pursued by a ruthless Pict warrior named Etain, played by Olga Kurylenko.
As they struggle to reach safety, the group must navigate treacherous terrain, harsh weather, and relentless Pictish warriors. The film explores themes of survival, loyalty, and the brutal realities of war.
