“The Raid 3: Reborn” is a non-stop action thrill ride that pushes the boundaries of the genre. Gareth Evans once again delivers a masterclass in fight choreography, with bone-crunching combat sequences that are both brutal and balletic. The film expands the scope of the previous installments, introducing new characters and exploring the complex web of corruption that permeates Jakarta’s criminal underworld.
Iko Uwais delivers another stellar performance as Rama, showcasing his incredible martial arts skills and emotional depth. Julie Estelle is also a standout, reprising her role as Alicia and proving that she is a force to be reckoned with.
The film’s visual style is gritty and realistic, immersing the audience in the dark and dangerous world of Jakarta’s criminal underbelly. The soundtrack is pulsating and intense, perfectly complementing the film’s action sequences.
