Django Unchained (2012)
“Django Unchained” is a 2012 Western film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Set in the antebellum South, the film follows Django (played by Jamie Foxx), a freed slave who partners with a German bounty hunter named Dr. King Schultz (played by Christoph Waltz) to rescue his wife, Broomhilda (played by Kerry Washington), from the brutal plantation owner Calvin Candie (played by Leonardo DiCaprio).
The story begins with Schultz freeing Django from a chain gang and enlisting his help to track down and capture the Brittle brothers, a trio of notorious outlaws.
