“The Pacific” is a 2010 American war drama miniseries produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, created by Hugh Ambrose and based on the books “With the Old Breed” by Eugene Sledge and “Helmet for My Pillow” by Robert Leckie. It is a companion series to “Band of Brothers” and aired on HBO.
