Lake Placid (1999)

Lake Placid (1999) is a horror-comedy film directed by Steve Miner. The movie is set in a peaceful lake in rural Maine, where a series of bizarre and deadly attacks reveal the presence of a giant, man-eating crocodile. The film stars Bill Pullman as Jack Wells, a local game warden; Bridget Fonda as Kelly Scott, a paleontologist; and Oliver Platt as Hector Cyr, a wealthy and eccentric mythology professor.
