Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)
Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018) is the third and final installment in the Maze Runner film series, directed by Wes Ball and based on the novel by James Dashner. The film continues the story of Thomas (played by Dylan O’Brien) and his group of friends known as the Gladers, as they fight to survive in a dystopian world ravaged by a deadly virus called the Flare.
In this installment, Thomas leads the Gladers on a mission to rescue their captured friend Minho (Ki Hong Lee) from the clutches of WCKD, the organization responsible for their trials.
Their journey takes them to the Last City, a heavily fortified metropolis that is the stronghold of WCKD. Along the way, they uncover more about the virus, WCKD’s plans, and the true nature of their world.
The film features intense action sequences, emotional moments, and a dramatic conclusion to the trilogy.
