The story is set in the small town of Devil’s Kettle and follows the relationship between two high school girls: Jennifer Check (Megan Fox), a popular cheerleader, and her shy and nerdy best friend, Needy Lesnicki (Amanda Seyfried). Their friendship takes a sinister turn when Jennifer is kidnapped by a rock band led by the frontman Nikolai (Adam Brody), who sacrifices her in a satanic ritual, hoping to gain fame and fortune. However, the ritual goes wrong because Jennifer is not a virgin, causing her to be possessed by a demon.

After the ritual, Jennifer returns with an insatiable hunger for human flesh. She begins preying on the boys in her school, feeding on them to maintain her beauty and strength. Needy eventually discovers what’s happening and realizes she must find a way to stop Jennifer before more lives are lost.
