Warrior (2011)

Warrior is a 2011 sports drama film directed by Gavin O’Connor, centered around the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). The film tells the story of two estranged brothers, Tommy Conlon (Tom Hardy) and Brendan Conlon (Joel Edgerton), who both enter an MMA tournament for different reasons.
Tommy, a troubled ex-Marine, returns home and enlists his alcoholic father, Paddy (Nick Nolte), to train him for the tournament.
Meanwhile, Brendan, a struggling schoolteacher and former fighter, also joins the competition in a desperate attempt to save his family from financial ruin.
As the two brothers prepare to face off in the tournament, they must confront their past, family traumas, and the emotional tension that has kept them apart for years.
